I’m raising funds to help pay for electrolysis!

If you don’t know me, I’m a trans woman of color writer and editor focused on creating trans stories and making space for our work to thrive. I’ve written my own books, based on my experiences as a queer Mexican trans woman and I co-edited a recent anthology of fiction by trans women of color. I also helped edit a poetry book that Venus Selenite just published, and I’ve been editing essays by Devan Diaz that you might have read on Autostraddle and Nylon. And I’ve got a few more projects that I’m trying to get started this summer, like a volume 1 of a poetry zine by trans women of color and a print magazine of art/fashion by #girlslikeus.

Anyway, like a lot of other trans women, I’ve had trouble finding safe, steady work while transitioning and getting my documents legally updated. So I’m asking for everyone’s help now to pay for electrolysis. Anything you can donate will mean a lot to me, even if it’s just a dollar. If you can’t donate now, please reblog this post. Thanks!
